Attendees will be treated to free coffee and cider from Tully's Coffee and entertainment from the Vancouver School District's Combined High School Choir. Festivities start at 5:30 p.m. and will feature a visit from Santa, music, and the official illumination of the Community Tree. Immediately following the illumination, attendees will be treated to holiday music played on the park's bell tower by local carillon player, Paul Van Dyke.
The public is invited to attend the Vancouver Pops Orchestra Concert at the Hilton Vancouver following the tree lighting ceremony at 6:30 p.m. The concert is free, with a donation of non-perishable food.
