WSUV Presents Heather Raffo’s '9 Parts of Desire'

Washington State University Vancouver hosts playwright Heather Raffo's, "9 Parts of Desire" one night only, at 6 p.m. Jan. 28, in the Administration building, room 110.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

This event is free and open to the Public, seating is limited.

"9 Parts of Desire," starring Luisa Sermol and directed by Louanne Moldovan, is a portrait of the extraordinary (and ordinary) lives of a whole cross-section of Iraqi women. In "9 Parts of Desire," Raffo weaves a tapestry of love, longing, sorrow and wit, illustrating the complex and harrowing reality of living in modern Iraq. This is an unusually timely meditation on the ancient, the modern and the feminine in a country overshadowed by war.

Note: This play is appropriate for ages 14 and up.

Parking is available in the Blue Lot for $3.
