Vancouver is a Bronze Level Bicycle Friendly Community

In October of 2005 the City of Vancouver was awarded a Bronze level Bicycle Friendly Community designation by the League of American Bicyclists.  The City went through the renewal process in 2012 and has been again designated a Bronze level Community.  Vancouver joins other communities around the country that have been given this designation. The League's Bicycle Friendly Community Campaign is a national grassroots effort to increase the number of trips made by bike, promote physical fitness and help make communities become more livable..
