The City of Vancouver is seeking applicants to fill one (1) vacancy on the Parking Advisory Committee. Applications must be received in the City Manager’s Office by 5 p.m., Friday, July 18, 2014.
The Committee is a seven-member volunteer body that advises the Vancouver City Council and City staff on parking policy and program implementation. Committee members must be either city residents or property owners, business owners, or an officer or partner in a business located in the downtown area. One member may be an employee of a downtown business.
The Parking Advisory Committee meets once a month on the fourth Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. at City Hall or as scheduled, January through October. From November through December the committee meets on the third Wednesday of each month, 7:30 a.m., in the City Hall Council Chambers.
