The 2008 Southwest
Washington Sustainability Conference and Trade Show, featured three
session tracks - climate, commerce, community - with inspiring speakers
and sustainability strategies and solutions.
We
recognize that conferences, by their own nature, present significant
challenges to the goal of being truly sustainable. As a result, much
effort was dedicated to improving and emphasizing sustainable
practices wherever possible. As part of this commitment, handouts and
other printed materials were kept to a minimum. Instead, conference presentations and materials
are being provided here, electronically, giving you the ability to
choose what you wish to expend in paper, ink and energy to print. (Adobe
Acrobat Reader required.) In addition, plenary presentations,
where allowed, were taped by CVTV Clark-Vancouver Cable Television for
later viewing. Links to those videos, as well as to the Washington
State Public Affairs TV (TVW) legislative taping, are also being provided for your
viewing convenience.
If
you did not have an opportunity to visit during the conference, you
can access sponsors and exhibitors
here.
Thank
you to all who supported and attended the conference and special keynote. We hope
you will continue to find these presentations helpful as we strive to
become more sustainable.
