Visit a Fire Station
We offer a tour of a different fire station each month.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE: Space is limited!

 

Make a reservation - Please do not show up without confirmation of your reservation.

To reserve your spot on a station tour, please email Vanfmo@cityofvancouver.us

Please include the following information in your email:

Primary contact name, phone numbers & email
Number of participants and age range
Station & date preferred
Alternate Station & date in case your preference is unavailable

To ensure the most effective use of time please keep the following minimum requirements in mind when requesting a reservation:

  • All participants must be 5 years of age or older.
  • Group sizes are limited to a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 15 people.
  • Times and dates are limited so if you receive confirmation and then need to cancel, please do so as soon as possible so that others may fill your time slot.
  • Please only attend one fire station visit per calendar year.

Please note:

  • Visitors are permitted only when firefighters are in quarters at the station.
  • Be aware that visits may be shortened or canceled if unanticipated changes occur in the firefighters’ schedule.
  • Stay safe by being aware of the heavy equipment and apparatus around you.
  • Sturdy, low-heel shoes are a good choice.
  • Groups with young children must insure an adequate number of adult chaperones.
  • If driving to the fire station, park vehicles so they do not block the emergency response route of fire apparatus.
  • Visits may/will be abruptly ended if personnel must respond to an emergency!
