Equipment at Downtown Station

Truck 1 at right has a Simon Duplex cab with a 100-foot aerial ladder. The truck features a tractor-trailer operation with a "Tillerman" driver in the back. Truck 1 is staffed with four firefighters. Fire Truck 82
Truck 1 is also a big toolbox with specialized equipment to support highrise firefighting and complex rescue situations. When keeping it clean you begin to realize that there is a lot of acreage on one of those big trucks! Washing Truck 82
Engine 1  is a 1998 Pierce Class A Engine, with a 1500 gallon per minute pump and 750 gallons of water on board. It has a two-stage pump, with an Elkhart in-line foam eductor.  Normally it carries a crew of three firefighters. Fire Engine 82
