Meet new friends and see things you've never seen in the 50+ Travel Program! If you're age 50 or better, you could be going on affordable day trips, exploring attractions, events, festivals and culture in the Pacific Northwest. Trips are planned and led by trained volunteers, and are offered in varying categories of difficulty.
If registering for a trip and using a wheelchair, motorized scooter, walker, service animal, caregiver, other assistive device or are in need of special assistance, please contact Inclusion Services at 360-487-7060. An accommodation request must be made 15 business days before the trip start date.
Trip planners must have good organization skills, be detail oriented, provide great customer service and be available to plan and lead two to three trips a month including weekends. This position provides travel benefits and camaraderie for those who enjoy travel and want to use their talents working with people. All volunteers must pass a criminal background check, have good health, be patient and pleasant, be willing to be trained in First Aid/CPR and blood borne pathogens and attend a monthly meeting. Contact Becky Anderson at 360-487-7084.
