On-Street Permit Parking

Information on terms and conditions, plus a street map.

THE MAP
The downtown parking map below provides the general location of on-street permit parking stalls only. Permits must be displayed in or on your vehicle so as to be readily observable by parking control officers, and in compliance with instruction provided by the City of Vancouver.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
On-street parking is governed by VMC 9.68.170.  Permit parking is allowed in areas signed for permit parking. See the back of this brochure for the signs you will see on the streets. These are the only signs where the on-street permits are valid. Everyone parking on the streets of Vancouver is responsible for compliance with all parking regulations as adopted by the City of Vancouver and the State of Washington.

MEDIA PERMITS
Media permits are available for operators of newspaper, radio stations, or television stations, and can be used at parking meters when attending news events.

All parking meters are enforced from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday – Friday, except for the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King’s Birthday, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans; Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
