We try to make it as simple as possible to plan your special event in Vancouver. We offer two distinct outdoor event venues available for use throughout the year in addition to our indoor community rooms at the Marshall Community and Fristenburg Community Centers.
Concert at Esther Short Park
Esther Short Park offers a wide range of event spaces including a Pavilion Stage, Gazebo, Brick Plaza, and several Large Grass Areas. Ammenities include: Electricity (including high voltage for large concerts), Water, Restrooms, Bell Tower, Water Feature, and all event rentals come with an on-site Park Attendant to assit with any facility needs.
Esther Short Park Rental Rates and Reservation Forms
Vancouver Landing is a beautiful amphitheater located on the Columbia River, just west of the Red Lion at the Quay. Ammenities include: Electricity, Water, Parking, and an on-site Park Attendant. This facility does not have restrooms nor a covered area.

For all Run/Walk events, Weddings, events with attendance of 500 people or more, and Corporate/Family BBQs involving alcohol, a Special Event Permit is required.

The City of Vancouver Special Events Team works through community partnerships to unite Vancouver as one city, where people throughout the community gather to enjoy many entertainment options.
