Nautilus Fitness Center at Marshall
Marshall Community Center was constructed in 1965 and
has served as the cornerstone of recreation activities in Vancouver over the past four decades.
The Center's well-loved pool is where many of Vancouver's residents learned
to swim.

What happened to Marshall Center?
This enduring landmark turned 40 in 2005.
Its doors temporarily closed in 2006/2007 in order to undergo a much-needed renovation: a 20,000 square
foot remodel and 10,000 square foot addition. Some of the upgrades and changes include:
Fitness Center with 2800 sq ft weight room
Aerobics/dance room with wood sprung floor
Arts/Crafts studio with outdoor work terrace
Expansion of the Oak/Elm Room with balcony
Public address sound system
New floors, carpet, and paint
ADA-approved accessibility features, including an elevator
Drop slide in the pool
Gym upgrades, including new flooring, equipment, lighting and acoustical features
Completely renovated HVAC system that will substantially reduce energy cost
New Teen Lounge adjacent to the Game Room
New wiring, plumbing, phone lines
Additional offices for cost-saving consolidation of staff from Parsley Center
