Each year, the Parks & Recreation Department receives numerous suggestions from the public for uses and facilities to be located on park property. In general, the proposals are submitted by organizations such as neighborhood associations, sports clubs, or special interest groups. In other cases, individuals step forward with a particular request for a use of facility they wish to see established. The department is currently in the process of finalizing an internal review process to help us better evaluate citizen proposals.
