Scarecrow Contest

The Urban Forestry Commission is proud to host the first annual Scarecrow Contest at this year's Old Apple Tree Festival.

The Scarecrow Contest is free and open to everyone- individuals, families, groups and businesses. View the contest rules and guidelines for more information. The deadline to submit your entry form is September 29 to be eligible. Complete and return the entry form as early as possible. Please note, due to space limitations we will only accept the first 20 entrants.

Prizes will be awarded to the best three scarecrows. The judging panel will consist of local celebrities and local leaders.

Come to the Old Apple Tree Festival on Saturday, October 1st and enjoy live music, children's activities, tasty food, fruit tree pruning workshops, cider pressing and the Scarecrows.
