Support Tree Planting in Vancouver

Support Tree Planting in Vancouver

Your Donation Can Make a Difference
By making a tax-deductible donation to the Parks Foundation, you can help support tree planting in your community. For more information about how to contribute, contact the Parks Foundation at 360-619-1170 or via email. Be sure to specify that you want your donation to go into the Urban Forestry account and to be used for tree planting!

Planting Sponsorships
Individuals or businesses are encouraged to sponsor local tree plantings. With your support, we can reach our tree canopy in goal in Vancouver! Financial commitment for project sponsorship varies by number of trees and size of project; Urban Forestry can work with you to find a planting site or project that fits your budget. Tree plantings are a great way to demonstrate your commitment to a healthy and sustainable community. Call (360) 619-1108 or email us for more information.

Witness Tree Program
Residents wishing to plant a tree in honor or memory of a special person or event may participate in the Witness Tree program, which is both a memorial program and an adopt-a-tree program that provides a way to commemorate special occasions while also enhancing our urban forest.

To obtain more information or discuss your idea for a living tribute, call (360) 619-1108 or email us.

Evergreen Arboretum
The Evergreen Arboretum, located at the east end of Officers Row near the intersection of Evergreen Blvd and Reserve St, grows better with the years.

From its beginning in 1978, the Evergreen Arboretum was conceived as a living tribute to honor the memory of those special people in our lives…a place where passers-by and visitors might pause and enjoy a moment of quiet contemplation.

Guided by the Memorial Landscape Committee, the Arboretum has grown and developed over the years, but remains true to the vision of its founders. The Memorial Landscapes Committee is a non-profit, public service organization affiliated with the Community Foundation for Southwest Washington.
