Join this popular group of key volunteers! Sign up for the free training and learn how to lead volunteer planters at morning tree plantings. As a trained crew leader, you'll guide a crew of volunteers at four plantings during the fall and winter. This outdoor, hands-on workshop will focus on the fundamentals of proper planting technique including planting hole preparation, planting depth, and post-planting care. Vancouver Urban Forestry staff will provide demonstrations and work side by side with workshop participants as they practice their skills by planting several large landscape trees. Come prepared for all weather conditions.
