Vancouver Parks and Recreation offers a wealth of recreational activities for residents of Vancouver, Clark County and the surrounding area. Between our three community centers, visitors can participate in over 100 weekly fitness classes, swim in one of two pools, learn tennis from USPTA board-certified professionals, climb Sadri's Summit climbing wall, and create works of art in our pottery and crafts studios.

Firstenburg Community Center

Opened in 2006, Vancouver's newest Community Center is home to an aquatic playground featuring a lazy river, 3,000 gallon spa, 3-lane lap pool and 130 foot long slide. Firstenburg's fitness center is located on the top floor with floor-to-ceiling views of the surrounding woods. An indoor track is open to the gymnasium below. Marshall Community Center

Opened in 1965, Marshall Community Center is located centrally in Vancouver, across the street from Clark Community College and Hudson's Bay High School and within short walking distance of downtown Vancouver and the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site. Like Firstenburg, Marshall has a pool, fitness center and two-court gymnasium. It is also home to the Luepke Senior Center which houses many of our 50 and Better programs for the City. Vancouver Tennis Center

This Community Center features 9 indoor and 4 outdoor tennis courts (including two lined for pickleball), 2 racquetball courts and a fitness room with weight-training and cardio equipment. The Vancouver Tennis Center (VTC) employs USPTA certified professionals and offers late night hours and community mixers throughout the week. Contact VTC by calling 360-487-8123.
