Frenchman's Bar Trail (2.5 miles)

Frenchman's Bar Trail

This 12-foot wide, hard-surfaced, shared-use trail connects Vancouver Lake and Frenchman's Bar.

Completed in 2001, the trail opened up a continuous 5-mile trail between the parks, giving visitors an opportunity to explore the entirety of the site by foot, bike or horseback.

Because the trail runs through an area where Lewis & Clark are believed to have set up camp in 1805, it played a significant role in activities associated with the Discovery Greenway Project, a focal point of the 2006 Lewis & Clark Bicentennial Commemoration. Existing park sites serve as trailheads.
