Summer Movie Series

Crowd watching Pixar's UP at LeRoy Haagen Park in Vancouver, Washington

The City of Vancouver is proud to present six movies at parks around the City this summer, free to you! Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy big screen entertainment. All movies are family friendly. Come early to get a good spot and participate in pre-movie activities.

Friday Night Movies in the Park

The lineup for summer 2017 has been announced! Movies begin at dusk. Because these events take place outside, they are susceptible to weather-related cancelations. We will let moviegoers know as soon as possible when this happens on our City of Vancouver and Vancouver Parks and Recreation social media channels.

July 7: Rogue One: A Star Wars Movie — Fort Vancouver Historic Site
July 14: The Secret Life of Pets — LeRoy Haagen Memorial Park
July 21: Moana — Marshall Park
July 28: Kubo & The Two Strings — Columbia Tech Center Park
August 4: Sing — Evergreen Park
August 11: Lego Batman Movie — Fruit Valley Park

We Need Your Help

Special Event Volunteers help register participants, set up and take down tables and tents, provide litter control, hand out prizes and much more! If you enjoy interacting with the public, can work outside in a variety of weather conditions and are at least 18 years of age (or 13 years old with a guardian) you may be interested in this position.
