Children will make new friends, discover new interests, reinforce positive identity, leadership, teambuilding, good decision making and strong values through participation in sports, games, crafts, interactive presentations, field trips and other structured and unstructured activities.
Ages 4-6. Little Campers is held Monday-Friday from 9am-Noon at the Firstenburg Community Center. Have fun with games, sports, music, crafts and activities that are centered on the theme for the week. Class held in the Special Events Room with daily time in the gym/outdoors.1:7 child staff ratio. Space is limited. Must be age 4 and toilet trained. Camp is geared toward pre-school up through kindergarten students.
Ages 6-10. SPARK Youth Day Camp - Sports, Physical Activities and Recreation for Kids! Have your child connect with nature and their day camp friends in a fun and creative way with Vancouver Parks and Recreation Youth Day Camps! During camp kids will engage in recreational activities, games, outdoor adventures and field trips that will reinforce a healthy lifestyle, positive identity, leadership, teambuilding, good decision making and strong values. Structured camp activities are from 9am-4:30pm, but parents may drop off as early as 7:30am and pick up by 6pm.
Ages 6-10. Your child will make new friends, discover new interests, reinforce positive identity, leadership, teambuilding, good decision making and strong values. Campers will enjoy swimming, crafts, sports, games, and one field trip per week. Structured activities are 9am-4pm, but parents may drop off as early as 7am and pick up by 5:30pm.
If you are interested in an Inclusion accommodation for your child (such as an Inclusion Mentor), please follow the steps below to make a request. Requests must be made 10-business days before the program start date. If you have questions about Inclusion accommodations, please call the Inclusion Services office at 487-7057.
Step 1: Register for the program of your choice
Step 2: Complete the Inclusion Intake Form (Must be completed once a year)
Step 3: Notify the Inclusion office of the program you registered for each time you do a new registration. Accommodation requests must be made 10 working days prior to the start of the program.
