Notes: On November 26, 1997 Cheryl Valenti was reported missing to the Vancouver Police Department. She was last been since by her boyfriend, Dennis Walls, who Valenti resided with at the time of her disappearance.
Walls told police Valenti left Vancouver on November 23, 1997 in his (Wall’s) Ford P/U truck. Valenti was driving to the Tri-Cities for a child custody hearing scheduled for November 24, 1997. Valenti never arrived.
On December 2, 1997 the 1973 Ford 4x4 P/U, which Valenti had reportedly been driving, was found abandoned in remote Skamania County on Forest Service Road #30. The road was closed due to snow at the time. Valenti’s purse and ID were found within the vehicle but there was no sign of Valenti.
