Boxing Program

Click the link to watch a City Minutes interview about PAL.

The PAL boxing program is designed for mature young men and women who wish to improve their physical conditioning and mental discipline. It is open for ages 8 to 18. Participants must fill out waiver and pay a one time participation fee of $35.00. The fee includes mouthpiece, PAL tee shirt, USA Boxing registration fee and supplemental insurance. Participants must agree to and sign a code of conduct to participate. Participation in the program is at the discretion of the coach and will be based on conduct both within the gym and outside the gym. Advanced students may participate in boxing matches with other clubs.

Athletes must have forms completed and fee paid before they can participate

Boxing Head Coach Leonard Gabriel along with Julie Ballou teach beginners and experienced students the basics of boxing. This hour long class is designed to teach anyone with an interest in not only boxing, but also individuals who want to get in shape and maintain great physical fitness. Participate to your comfort level. Training consists of drills involving shadow boxing, heavy bag, mitt work, jump roping, and other fundamentals. Boxing builds discipline and confidence and each student is responsible during the course of the class to be involved in a leadership role.

Please contact PAL Executive Director Curtis Kimbrough for more information (360) 487-7487
