Whether exploring our Website or visiting our beautiful facility overlooking the Columbia River in Vancouver, you'll find a world of information designed to inspire us to become better stewards of our water resources. Teaching people of all ages how to wisely use this important, life-giving natural resource is what Vancouver's Water Resources Education Center is all about.
Remember: New Saturday Hours
Starting in 2014, the Water Resources Education Center will have new operating hours on Saturday. The facility will be open from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturdays. We will remain open the regular hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday through Friday.

Enjoy interactive exhibits, hands-on activities, aquaria swimming with fish, toddler-friendly Puddles Place, environmental artwork, natural gardens, wildlife-friendly wetlands and more!

Educators/StudentsEach year, the Water Resources Education Center provides a new focus and a myriad of related hands-on activities for its education offerings. Whether it's school field trips for pre-kindergartners to grade 12, outreach opportunities, group visits or watershed monitoring service, these programs are a great way to introduce or further knowledge of the natural resources and world around us.
