Every year the Water Resources Education Center recognizes sturgeon and Columbia River ecosystems. This free, fun event offers opportunities for the entire family to learn about fish and other animals in and around the Columbia River. Highlights for this year's Sturgeon Festival include fish dissections and interactive, hands-on activities. Join us from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., September 21, at the Water Center, 4600 SE Columbia Way. The festival is sponsored by the City of Vancouver's Water Resources Education Center and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.
