Traffic is an essential part of how we move around Vancouver. Each year the City of Vancouver prepares a Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The TIP is the City's detailed transportation improvement work program. The TIP process identifies transportation-related projects the City intends to begin within the next six years. These projects include planning studies and street, bicycle, pedestrian and traffic signal improvements. The TIP is adopted annually by the City Council.
The Transportation Improvement Program shows all future projects listed on a master spreadsheet with a separate detailed project sheets for each street project. The TIP includes a financial analysis, six year project list, project detail sheets and a glossary.
