Get Involved in Historic Preservation

Although Clark County and Vancouver are steeped in properties of the past, the future of historic preservation is up to us. Heritage programs rely on citizen involvement and we need your help to protect and restore the historic sites in this community. Log on www.co.clark.wa.us to learn how you can preserve a piece of your community. Here are some of the ways you can support historic preservation:

  • Nominate your historic home to the county, state or national registers.
  • Encourage friends to research the history of their homes.
  • Visit historic homes and sites.
  • Attend historic preservation workshops and seminars.
  • Contribute time and money to preservation programs and events.

Your efforts are critical to the creation of preservation programs and opportunities.
