Vancouver National Historic Reserve

Water Resources Education Center's National Historic Reserve logoThe Water Resources Education Center is a proud partner of the Vancouver National Historic Reserve, established by U.S. Congress in 1996 for the preservation, public use and management of historic sites within Vancouver, Washington.

Other partners include the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site (National Park Service), the City of Vancouver (Vancouver Barracks and Officer’s Row), Pearson Field and Air Museum, the U.S. Army, the Washington State Office of Archaeology and Historic Reservation and the Vancouver National Historic Reserve Trust.

The Center is proud of the role it provides in interpreting natural history within this context.
