POSTED MARCH 20, 2015

On March 17, 2015 Vancouver Police recovered a stolen vehicle, which officers had attempted to stop on earlier in the day. The suspect fled the traffic stop but the vehicle was recovered unoccupied later the same day. A receipt recovered from the vehicle led officers to a store that captured images of the suspect making the purchase that was noted on the receipt.

On March 16, 2015, Vancouver Police responded to the People's Community Credit Union at 904 C Daniels St. for the report that an unidentified male suspect attempted to pry open the cash dispenser on the ATM using a screw driver and after he failed in his efforts to access the ATM, he super glued the cash door dispenser shut. 

Surveillance cameras on the ATM captured images of the suspect who was last seen wearing a black jacket, black stocking cap, black gloves, and a green and red shirt. The male has reddish-brown facial hair, and long hair that looks to be appeared back in a pony-tail.

On March 8, 2015 Vancouver Police took a report of a theft from a victim who had her wallet stolen while riding a C-TRAN bus. The thief was also a passenger on the bus. 

Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect who is described as a black or Hispanic male, 20’s, mustache, white hoodie, headphones, dark jacket, “9” on his shirt front, gray sweatpants, black and white tennis shoes, blue/black/gray backpack.

On March 10, 2015 Vancouver Police took a theft report. The victim had a gazing ball ornament stolen from their yard and a surveillance camera captured an image of the thief.

On February 6, 2014 Vancouver Police took a report of an auto prowl where the victim's wallet was stolen. The victim later reported unauthorized charges on one of their credit cards. On January 14, 2015, Vancouver Police responded to the 7-11, located at 9701 E Mill Plain Blvd for the report of a theft of a cell phone. An employee set her phone down and a customer was seen on surveillance video picking up the phone and leaving the store. 

Suspect is a white male, thin build wearing a black hooded shirt.

The Vancouver Police Department was contacted regarding a theft at the Laundry Love (2101 St. Johns Blvd.). Two suspects, a male and a female, broke into the coin machine using a bolt cutter. 

Surveillance cameras captured images of both suspects, including on image of them committing the crime. The female is seen shielding the male with a towel while he cuts into the coin machine with the bolt cutters.

On January 12, 2015 victim reports that she was on a walk in her neighborhood and believes her wallet fell out of her pocket. She then notices unauthorized transactions on two of her credit cards.

POSTED NOVEMBER 24, 2014

On November 2, 2014 Vancouver Police were contacted by a victim who reported multiple unauthorized transactions from her bank account and credit accounts totaling over $14,000. The victim's wallet and ID had been stolen and she subsequently noticed the unauthorized transactions. 

Surveillance video from one of the unauthorized transactions was obtained. The suspect is a middle-aged, white female, approximately 5'5". The suspect has a smart phone that is white, wears a wedding ring, and has worn a hat in a few of the transactions.

On October 18, 2014 Vancouver Police were contacted regarding a burglary at the Tidewater Cove Condominiums  (1000 SE TIDEWATER PL). An unknown male entered the club house and took several items, including a stereo receiver.

The suspect is a white male, dark hair, a beard and mustache, 6’0, 180 lbs., wearing a ball cap. Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect.

On August 23, 2014 Vancouver Police responded to the Walmart located at 221 NE 104th Avenue for the report of a theft. A female suspect was seen exiting the store with over $200 worth of merchandise that she did not pay for.

On August 9, 2014 Vancouver Police were contacted by a victim who stated she purchased a cell phone from an unknown male and when she attempted to activate the phone with her carrier the phone was flagged as stolen. 

The victim was able to capture an image of the suspect during the transaction. The suspect is a white male, about 5’0", thin build, 20's. The suspect was the passenger in what may be a white Honda.

On August 3, 2014 Vancouver Police responded to the Unleashed by Petco located at 6603 E MILL PLAIN BL for a theft report.  An unknown male entered an employee-only area of the store and stole the wallet from the purse of an employee. The suspect is a Hispanic male, 20-25, 5'08l with a thin build and shorter black hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt, black jeans, white tennis shoes and had on a black back pack.

On April 16, 2014, a male entered a Riverview Bank branch in Vancouver, Washington, presented a demand note to the teller and robbed the bank. The suspect initially fled on foot, and may have gotten into a dark-colored pick up. 

Vancouver Police Detectives are attempting to identify the suspect who is a white male, possibly in his 20’s, less than 6 feet tall, with a slightly heavy build.  A surveillance photo of the suspect is attached.

On 05/09/2014 Vancouver Police responded to a theft at the Ulta store at Vancouver Mall. Two suspects, a black male and a black female, enter the store, conceal several items of merchandise and flee when confronted by an employee. While departing the parking lot, the suspect vehicle backed into a Mall Security truck and fled the scene in a Gold Pontiac Grand AM with License plate WA 469DEN.

On February 5, 2014 Vancouver Police were contacted by a Vancouver resident that discovered their social security number had been used to open a Kohl's credit card. Several fraudulent transactions were made with this card at the Kohl's Store located in Wood Village.

The suspect's committing the fraudulent transactions were captured on surveillance video.

On January 4, 2014 the Target Store at 16200 SE Mill Plain Blvd. reported a fraud involving two males who purchased over $2000 worth of electronics using counterfeit $100, $20, and $10 bills.  The counterfeit bills were passed by a black male adult wearing a red shirt, jeans, and a dark jacket who was accompanied by a white male adult wearing jeans, a dark coat, and a knit cap.
