The opening ceremony will begin in the Japanese Garden followed by activities and displays in Gaiser Student Center with performances by Portland Shishimai Kai and Takohachi Ensemble. If the weather prohibits the opening ceremony from taking place outdoors, it will be held in Gaiser Student Center. This event is free and open to the public.
