It is an opportunity to reflect on Chuukese heritage, recognize the wisdom of elders and inspire future generations to carry forward the legacy of their Chuukese ancestors. Join the City and the Sakura 39ers Youth Association for a celebration of Chuuk Heritage and Unity Proclamation Day, a special occasion dedicated to honoring the rich cultural traditions, deep-rooted history and the unity that strengthens the Chuukese people. The event celebrates the first anniversary of the City’s Chuukese Heritage and Unity Day proclamation and Clark County’s first Chuukese Heritage and Unity Day proclamation presented in 2025.

We invite all members of our community, near and far, to join us in this celebration. The festival will include cultural performances, Chuukese local vendors and community resources, and more.
