For 20 years, Firstenburg Community Center has been serving east Vancouver with heart, creating a welcoming place where people connect, families grow and wellness thrives. Join us for a free anniversary celebration filled with activities, fun and appreciation for the community that makes Firstenburg so special.

The anniversary activities are open to everyone; no membership is required.

Drop-in Activities in the Lobby

• 9 to 11 a.m. Meet some of our community partners and get connected to local services
• 10 a.m. Take a photo with our Firstenburg Heart, he’ll be popping up around the center all day
• 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Get to know the 50 and Better Quilting Club
• 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Make a yarn heart during all ages craft time
• Enjoy treats in the lobby throughout the day, while supplies last

Scheduled Activities in the Center

• 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Open Climb on Sadri’s Summit (two climbs per participant)
• 11:30 a.m. 50 and Better Line Dance Club performs in the lobby
• 12:30 p.m. 50 and Better Ukulele Club performs in the lobby
• 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Swim with a swim instructor in the pool
• 4:15 to 5:15 p.m. Public Swim 1 (space is limited, swim bands will be available 30 minutes prior to each swim, one free swim per person)
• 5 to 7 p.m. Open Climb on Sadri’s Summit (two climbs per participant)
• 5 to 7 p.m. Movie night featuring Ice Age 2: The Meltdown (PG) in the Community Room
• 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Public Swim 2 (space is limited, swim bands will be available 30 minutes prior to each swim, one free swim per person)
• 5 to 7 p.m. Family obstacle course and activities in the gymnasium
• 6 to 7 p.m. Zumba dance fitness party in the gymnasium
