Dive into a world of electrifying creativity at the Vancouver Arts & Music Festival! This spectacular free event is open to all ages and will transform Esther Short Park and downtown Vancouver into a stage for artistic brilliance! From vibrant stages to pop-up galleries, awe-inspiring juried art shows, toe-tapping family activities and tantalizing food vendors, the Vancouver Arts & Music Festival is a sensory explosion like no other.
Brought to you by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra USA and the City of Vancouver, this festival is a celebration of culture, community and the unbridled joy that comes with experiencing the arts together.
Volunteers Needed: This free festival is made possible thanks to the support of outstanding volunteers! Be part of the excitement and help with setup, vendor support, artist assistance and more.
Friday Schedule
Friday is Family Day at the Festival! Join us for a full day of creative fun, music and excitement designed for kids! Enjoy roving performers and magicians, free facepainting, puppet shows and a pop-up children’s museum with Columbia Play Project.

Main Stage

- 7 p.m. Violinists Mark and Maggie O’Connor perform with Vancouver Symphony Orchestra USA conducted by Salvador Brotons
After the concert, stay for Coco (PG), the free Friday Night Movie in the park sponsored by Riverview Bank. Ages 21+ can enjoy a Festival After Hours show at Loowit Brewing (507 Columbia St.) sponsored by Vancouver’s Downtown Association.
