How to Schedule an Inspection by Text

  1. Enter one of the following prompts:
    • Schedule: to schedule an inspection
    • Cancel: to cancel an inspection
    • Reschedule: to reschedule an inspection
    • Results: to get inspection results
  2. Enter your permit number (example: RES-123456)
  3. Enter the 3-digit inspection code that you would like to schedule (all inspection codes)
  4. Follow the prompts to select a date and leave a comment for the inspector.
  5. Verify details and you will receive a confirmation number.

Alternatively, you can skip the prompts by texting your permit number, inspection code and the date you wish to schedule.

For example, if you text:

Schedule MPE-123456 715 10/30

This prompt will schedule an underground electrical inspection, code 715, for permit MPE-123456 on October 30.
