Vancouver Bee City USA
We are proud to announce that Vancouver, Washington is officially a Bee City USA, showing our dedication to being a community that protects our vital pollinators.
By becoming a Bee City, we commit to taking meaningful actions that preserve and protect native bees, butterflies and other essential pollinating species. These pollinators are critical to the health of our ecosystems, our food supply, and our local environment.
Together, we will:
- Celebrate Pollinator Week and other community events.
- Educate our community about the importance of pollinators.
- Create and maintain pollinator-friendly habitats.
- Adopt an integrated pest management (IPM) plan designed to prevent pest problems and reduce pesticide use.
- Establish policy actions that protect and conserve pollinators.
The Bee City USA designation is just the beginning. Join us in building a healthier, more vibrant Vancouver for pollinators and the community.

Naturespaces is a City of Vancouver volunteer program that brings the community together to help restore and enhance select sites within the Vancouver parks system with a focus on preserving and expanding native habitat.
