City Council Meetings
Council meets the first through fourth Mondays of every month, except for Monday holidays, or if there is a fifth Monday in the month. The meeting following a Monday holiday will be a Regular Session starting at 7 p.m.
Per Vancouver City Charter (Article 1, Section 2.10), City Council must convene a Regular Meeting at least twice per month. Council meetings are open to the public and provide various opportunities for public testimony (see below).
Council meets in the second floor Council Chambers at City Hall, 415 W. 6th St., Vancouver.
First and third Monday of each month at 7 p.m.
Public testimony on agenda items is accepted during the Regular Session. Public hearings on individual items may appear on an agenda for a Regular Session and will be advertised in advance.
Consent Meeting & Citizen Forum
Second and fourth Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
Consent meeting times may vary based on Council’s need to conduct additional business or public hearings. A citizen forum will take place after the conclusion of scheduled consent agenda business.
Every Monday, from 4-6 p.m., unless otherwise noted on the agenda.
Council may choose to hold an executive session during the workshop period. Executive sessions are closed to the public.
