Whether exploring our Website or visiting our beautiful facility overlooking the Columbia River in Vancouver, you'll find a world of information designed to inspire us to become better stewards of our water resources. Teaching people of all ages how to wisely use this important, life-giving natural resource is what Vancouver's Water Resources Education Center is all about.
Science in the Park, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., is a special learning treat awaiting families who enjoy Vancouver's summertime Noon Concert Series, at Esther Short Park. Kids can explore what different scientists do each week!
Join us for this new, free outdoor reading series for kids ages 3 to 6 years old. Come to the Water Resources Education Center each Tuesday in August for story time and outside adventures. We read, and you explore!
The Southwest Washington Watercolor Society presents a selection of paintings with an emphasis on beautiful wildlife in and around water settings in our community. The show will be available for public viewing at the Water Resources Education Center from June 2 to July 31.
