Ogden park no longer maintained by the City
April 24, 2026
Ogden Park is no longer being maintained by the City of Vancouver. When the land was owned by Vancouver Public Schools, the City had an agreement with the school district to help manage the park for community use.
In summer 2025, the property was purchased by Friends of the Children SW Washington, with plans to use the building and surrounding area for their youth programs. As a result, Ogden Park is no longer part of the City’s park system.
Beginning April 27, City park signage and garbage cans will be removed from the site.
Questions or concerns about the property should now be directed to Friends of the Children SW Washington at 360-207-4352 or apauletto@friendsswwa.org.
Other nearby City parks include Oakbrook Park, Centerpointe Park, and Forest Ridge Park.
