Starting July 1, a 2.65% service fee will be added to utility bills paid by credit or debit card. Avoid fees by using cash, physical check, money order, or ACH.

April 28, 2026

Beginning July 1, 2026, a 2.65% service fee will be charged to customers who pay their utility bills by credit or debit card.

Passing the credit and debit card service fee charged to customers by companies was part of the 2025/26 biennium budget adopted by the City Council in December 2024.

Customers can avoid paying a service fee by paying cash, using a physical check, paying via ACH from their checking account, or using a money order.

AutoPay customers who currently use a credit or debit card for payments can switch to a checking account to avoid paying a service fee.

    • Log in to your online profile
    • Click Manage AutoPay
    • Select Pay by Bank Account
    • Enter your information and Save (Be sure to include all leading zeros for your routing or bank account number. Incorrect information can result in a return payment and a $40 fee.)

Service fees are non-refundable and ineligible for credit if paid in error. We encourage you to verify all payment information before submission.

Service fees for credit and debit card payments made on our website or by AutoPay will be collected by our payment processor. In-person, by phone, or mailed-in credit and debit card payment services fees will be collected by the City and paid directly to our payment processor.
