Gretchen Fraser playground closed July 6-21

The playground at Gretchen Fraser will be closed July 6-21 to remove the existing rubber tile surfacing and replace it with Forever Lawn artificial turf. This will improve accessibility, safety, and long-term durability.
Forever Lawn is PFAS-free, aids in water conservation and helps reduce emissions from lawn care equipment used in park maintenance.
Work will occur Monday through Friday, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. The contractor is PlayCreation, Inc., based in Burien, Washington. They have been briefed on working and driving safely in the neighborhood. Please avoid construction areas and use caution around equipment.
