City Hall visitor parking lot closes for heat pump relocation project

From July 13 through Oct. 31, construction will temporarily close the visitor parking lot on the south side of City Hall as crews relocate heat pump wells. Pedestrians will be routed around the work zone.
Parking options during construction:
- Two-hour paid street parking
- Pay-by-the-day parking in the lot west of City Hall
- ADA parking on the north side of City Hall and in the parking lot west of City Hall
The plaza on the southeast side of City Hall will be closed between Aug. 12 and Oct. 31.
The heat pump wells are currently located in the lot south of the City Hall visitor parking lot and will be moved to the City Hall lot. Relocation of the heat pump wells will allow for future development of the south lot, address aging infrastructure, and support long-term system performance. After completion, the City will restore the plaza and parking lot to pre-construction conditions.
