Overall Plan
Track/Area search for a wanted subject, parked patrol vehicle spotted subject who fled. Detective info that the suspect has been seen on social media with photos of a firearm around a month ago. Subject wanted for burglary II, PCS with intent and whatever else you want. You will have the officer who located the subject as a cover officer (actor), there will be a UAS overhead and containment in the area. During the search the suspect steps barely out and fires two shots from the blank gun, this needs to be timed correctly and the cover officer drops down dramatically after being shot in the forearm and just above a knee (red duct tape). Their animation is to draw the canine to the cover officer. The suspect flees out of view not showing an immediate threat. Handler should make decisions at this time to secure canine to a tree or nearby obstacle then assist cover officer who can’t get their own tourniquet on due to forearm injury. The handler should find their cover officers tourniquet and use it applying it correctly. Once this happens further units arrive for them if they requested them and medical if requested. The handler should not immediately go back into the search but consider an armored search.

Overall Plan
Woodland track for Assault II DV strangulation, Residential Burglary DV, Felony NCO DV Violation suspect who fled into woodland area. Track will have one cover officer for the handler and tracks can be set in new locations along the sessions if trainer sees room. Tracks should run about twelve to fifteen minutes. The medic will have the dummy dog with them in a pack and present it once the canine is removed from the bite and suspect in custody. Suspect is taken out of view and handler assesses injury properly and determines to leave the stick in the canine and make a determination of how they would move their canine (place muzzle, properly wrap to secure, and use a proper litter or carry technique) and identify an extraction meeting location and request. Identify their extraction plan and advise of where they are headed, what is their trauma vet.
