Celebrating a Main Street milestone

On Aug. 28, we reopened the first block of the Main Street Promise project with a community block party in downtown Vancouver. Neighbors, business owners, and partners gathered on the 1400 block to celebrate this step toward a safer, more vibrant and connected Main Street. With upgraded utilities, fresh pavement, curbless sidewalks and new brick pavers, this block is just the beginning of the transformation coming to our downtown corridor.
