Vancouver Public Works crews are here to help. 

The form below has been created to enhance customer access to our Operations and Maintenance Services. Please review the list of frequently requested public services below, and click on the type of service you need. 

If your issue is urgent, such as a public water line break, public sewer backup or a major traffic signal not working, please call us at

  • 360-487-8177, during regular office hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, or
  • 360-693-9302, after hours and holidays.
  • In case of a life-threatening emergency, please call 9-1-1.

Providing detailed locations and information, such as cross streets for potholes and pole asset tags for street lights not working properly, will help us better respond to your request. We also ask for your email address, solely so we may contact you to verify the service request and ask any follow-up questions. A phone number is also helpful, but not required. 

Vancouver Public Works is dedicated to providing quality customer service. We will be contacting you within one business day of your initial request.
