Marshall/Luepke Event Rentals
The Marshall/Luepke Community Center offers a variety of rental spaces to host your special event at a great price. Our personable, professional staff have years of experience and a wealth of resources to help you to plan your special day. Amenities include tables, chairs, projection screen and limited audio/visual equipment. The building is ADA accessible and has access to a free parking lot for your guests.

Rental Fees and Amenities
People who live within Vancouver city limits receive the lowest pricing option. Check your address on the Vancouver City Limits Map to see if you qualify.
Community Room – Weddings, Quinceañeras and Large Events
The Community Room is located in Luepke Senior Center and offers a large ballroom and stage, with floor to ceiling windows that look out onto Marshall Community Park. Access to the adjacent community kitchen is available for an additional fee. This space is great for weddings, holiday parties, family reunions and quinceañeras. Maximum capacity for the Community Room is 270 people.

A $700 damage deposit is required. Beer, wine and champagne may be brought on-site for an additional $300 fee. No hard liquor or distilled spirits are allowed. Alcohol must be served by a licensed bartender. A state-issued banquet permit is required.
Other Rental Information
The rental space includes the Community Room, a commercial kitchen, outdoor courtyard, south area of the park and hallway. Facility staff will set up and take down tables and chairs, provide a microphone and audio-visual equipment to connect with your laptop or music player, a podium, chairs, and kitchen appliances. We do not provide utensils, pots, pans, dinnerware, glasses or linens.
The rental period must include any time needed to decorate and clean up. For wedding rentals, there are optional dressing rooms and a lounge area to rent for $40 per room.
Oak and Elm – Parties and Small Events
The Oak and Elm Rooms are located in Marshall Community Center and offer bright, comfortable spaces for small to medium sized gatherings with the optional use of an outdoor patio. There is a movable divider wall between the Oak and Elm Rooms, providing flexibility to meet the needs of your event. Access to the adjacent Marshall kitchen is available for an additional fee.

Conference Room – Meetings
The Marshall Public Conference Room is perfect for small meetings and groups. There is a large conference table and chairs. Food and beverages are allowed, no alcohol. Maximum capacity is 8-12.

Private Pool Rentals
Marshall Pool features a 25-yard lap swim area and drop-slide. The pool depth ranges from 4-9 feet. Maximum pool capacity is 80 swimmers.

- $34/hour for each additional 20 swimmers
- Available Saturday evenings only, starting at 5:30 p.m.

Marshall/Luepke Community Center hosts amazing graduation parties every year and makes the planning easy on you! Graduation parties can entertain up to 500 students and offer an affordable, safe and memorable way to celebrate.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you need to be a Marshall member to book a party or event?
No. Anyone can book a party or event at Marshall Community Center.
How do I know if I qualify for city resident pricing?
Enter your home address into the Vancouver City Limits online map to see if you qualify for city resident pricing.
What do I need to bring?
Please bring all decorations, plates, cups, utensils, cake, food, drinks, etc.
Can I watch my children swim?
We do not allow spectators on our pool deck due to health reasons. Street clothes and/or shoes are also not allowed on the pool deck (you must be in appropriate swim attire). If you would like to take a photo of your birthday group swimming, please notify a lifeguard of your request. Limit the amount of time taking photos in the pool to five minutes. Food and drinks are not allowed on the pool deck.
What if I need to cancel?
Payment is due in full at the time of booking. Cancellations must be made 30 days in advance of the event date. A 25% cancellation fee will be withheld.
Does the City of Vancouver offer other rental spaces to host events?
Rental space is also available at Firstenburg Community Center, the Water Resources Education Center and at park picnic shelters.
